Dog Walker (Vaud Region)

The Dog Walkers Switzerland is growing! We’re looking for a reliable, dog-loving individual to join our professional dog walking team in the Vaud region.

About the Role

As a Dog Walker, you’ll be responsible for safely walking small groups of dogs (maximum 3 per walk), building relationships with clients, and ensuring every dog in your care has a safe, structured, and fun experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and drop off dogs at clients’ homes
• Walk dogs safely in groups or solo, depending on needs
• Match dogs based on size, energy, and temperament
• Provide basic care (water, paw checks, drying off if wet)
• Communicate clearly with clients (updates, notes, photos)

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine love for dogs and time spent outdoors
• Physically fit and able to walk for several hours/day
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds
• Basic dog handling or pet care experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license (vehicle not mandatory but a plus)

Bonus Qualifications

• Pet First Aid certification (or willingness to complete)
• Experience with senior dogs or dogs with behavioral needs
• Background in dog training or shelter/kennel work
